About

In August 1969, Avernell Rogers invited women who wanted to make a difference in their community to meet and charter the GFWC Azalea City Woman’s Club (ACWC). For 55 years, the ACWC has been strengthening our local community and beyond through projects and programs in the areas of Arts & Culture, Civic Engagement & Outreach, Environment, Education & Libraries, and Health & Wellness to make the world a better place for all people.

Jeanette Coody and Avernell Rogers are charter members.
